On August 3rd Michigan had its biggest Primary Election day in decades with a
record number of candidates filing for the House and Senate. This was caused
mostly by the large number of open seats created by Michigan's term limits
creating a lot of races to capture and share with you. It may also reflect the
mood of the voters who want to see change in their state government. Attached
for your reading is our complete report on the results and some insights from us
on the outcome and what it means for November. I hope you find the results as
interesting as some of the campaign ads we saw.

people from various municipal departments met and agreed to form the
Michigan Association of Retired Public Employees to protect the rights
we acquired prior to our retirements. A temporary board was
